The second しぶやはしご酒 is a week of indoor hops. From Monday 12 October 2026, a national holiday, through Sunday 18 October, 112 shops around Shibuya Station sell a hashigo set against a ¥3,000 booklet of three tickets. After 18:00 the ward already bans drinking on the pavement around the station, Center-gai, and Miyashita Park. The tickets only work inside. Treat the scramble like Halloween and staff will move you on before the second drink.
What the three tickets actually buy
Each ticket is one limited set at one participating shop. The committee priced the booklet at ¥3,000 including tax. First round, early spring 2026, sold past the planned print run. Round two stretched the map to ten areas and locked 112 names after shop-by-shop talks. You buy in the official app at shibuya-hashigo.fespli.com, iOS and Android. At the door, tell staff you came for はしご酒, then show the ticket screen before you order. No table reservations. Unused tickets are not cashed out, and there is no change. A kitchen can kill the set without notice. When the planned count sells, sales stop.
The set is the shop's own plate plus a drink, or whatever that room put on the app that week. Hyakken-ten still has the old rock kissa and snack rooms. Udagawa-kita leans wine bars and izakaya. Dogenzaka adds THE RUBYROOM. Miyamasuzaka puts DJ BAR Bridge and WREP on the ninth and tenth floors of the same Parkside building. Those last two are the point of this edition: the committee wanted DJ bars and clubs on the same booklet as 焼売酒場なかめ and Mikkeller Tokyo, so the walk is not only food.
The 18:00 line is the whole walk
Shibuya's street-drinking rule is year-round, 18:00 to 05:00, around the station, Center-gai, and Miyashita Park. Tokyo's night-tourism grant that funds this week is trying to put that drinking back in rooms. Center-gai at 19:00 with a convenience-store can is the wrong picture. Miyashita Park 3F has 渋谷ワイナリー東京, ミヤシタ成ル, and a cluster of 渋谷横丁 counters from 北海道食市 through 沖縄食市. Those still count as shops. The lawn does not. The committee's own manners line is the same as the ordinance: no noise, no standing around on the street, no under-20 drinking. Age checks happen.
Walk one spine, not all 112
The PR Times list of 2 October is the live roster. Pick a spine and stay on it. Crossing the scramble between every drink is how you lose an hour.
- Hyakken-ten. Mikkeller Tokyo, TOKYO KAKI STAND, BAR ZERO, 塩豚骨らーめん たちひら. Tight streets west of Dogenzaka. Easy third stop if the first two are full.
- Udagawa-kita. LIQUID FACTORY, pipal, SummerFall Tap Cocktails, やむなし松濤. Oku-Shibuya side, quieter than Center-gai at 21:00.
- Dogenzaka. THE RUBYROOM, 道玄坂教会, 焼売酒場なかめ. Sunday 18 October this slope also hosts Shibuya Music Festival street stages. Eat before the road closes or after the last set, not during the changeover.
- Miyamasuzaka and Koen-dori. DJ BAR Bridge, WREP, Shibuya CLUB BALL, Tiki's Tokyo. Take the lift. These rooms do not work as a 15-minute in-and-out.
- Shinsen and Maruyama. SEN, ビアスタンドヒラノヤ, UTOPIA / DYSTOPIA. One station or a 10-minute walk from Hachiko, and the queue is usually shorter.
- Miyashita Park. 渋谷ワイナリー東京 on 3F, plus the 横丁 counters on South 1F. Useful if you already walked Meiji-dori and do not want another Dogenzaka climb.
Center-gai and Fujimi fill the rest of the 112. 酒処 富川, 多古菊, OVER the MOON, YAOYA TOKYO. They are real rooms. They are also the most jammed after 20:00. If you only have three tickets, spend them where you can sit.
Say the phrase, then sit
The committee's door script is short. You say はしご酒で来ました. You show the app. You order the set. You do not ask for a reserved table, because none exist. If the room is full they will make you wait or turn you away. That is written into the 2 October release, not a surprise on the night. Menus land on the official site and in the app in the days before the 12th. Check the shop's own last order. A ramen counter at 23:00 and WREP at 23:00 are not the same night.
Under-20s cannot drink. Driving after the set is illegal, same as any other Tuesday. Pregnant drinkers get the usual health line. The useful local rule is the pavement one. Finish the glass inside.
