Standard Products is a lifestyle store concept launched by Daiso, Japan's much-loved variety shop chain, with its very first branch opening at Shibuya Mark City in 2021. The shop strips away unnecessary decoration in favour of clean, minimalist design and elevated quality, offering over 1,300 products starting from as little as 300 yen. The range covers homeware, kitchen utensils, stationery, and daily essentials, many of which are sourced from renowned Japanese manufacturing regions such as Tsubame in Niigata for metalwork and Seki in Gifu for cutlery. The aesthetic has drawn comparisons to Muji, yet with a distinctly Daiso approach to affordability. Located on the ground floor of Shibuya Mark City's West building, the shop is open daily from 9:30 to 21:00 and is directly connected to Shibuya Station. It is an excellent place to pick up well-designed souvenirs or everyday items without breaking the bank.
