MERCER bis Shibuya is a sweets boutique on the ground floor of Shibuya Mark City, within the Tokyu Food Show. The brand is best known for its handcrafted chiffon cakes, particularly the signature raw caramel chiffon that has earned a loyal following since the company's founding. Alongside whole chiffon cakes, the shop offers individual cup portions that make for an easy treat on the go, as well as a rotating line-up of seasonal flavours and original sweets inspired by the chiffon cake's light, airy texture. Each cake is made by hand using quality ingredients, and the presentation is as appealing as the taste. The counter is takeaway only and operates from 10:00 to 21:00 with no fixed closing days. It is conveniently located just two minutes from JR Shibuya Station's central ticket gate, making it a perfect stop to pick up dessert after a meal or a gift for someone back home. Tax-free shopping is available at the B1 counter.
