Cafe Lounge Estacion is the signature lounge of the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu, perched on the fifth floor directly above Shibuya Station. The name 'Estacion' comes from the Spanish word for station, and true to its name the cafe offers a rare vantage point overlooking the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing, with soaring ceilings roughly eight metres high creating an unexpectedly open, airy atmosphere. The menu covers light meals, afternoon tea sets and seasonal sweets crafted by the hotel's own pastry chef, alongside a concise drinks list. The egg sandwich, served in the cafe's signature style, is a recurring favourite. Takeaway sweets are also available for those who fancy a treat on the go. A private room called Primera can be reserved for more intimate gatherings. Seating 153 guests across a non-smoking floor, the lounge is accessible directly from the station via Shibuya Mark City. It is an excellent pit-stop for visitors wanting to rest their legs and take in the crossing from above without the crowds.
