AUX BACCHANALES 原宿店

Aux Bacchanales is a French brasserie and cafe that has been a fixture of the Harajuku dining scene since 1995. The Harajuku branch, now housed on the third floor of WITH HARAJUKU, offers open-air terrace seating with a view towards the entrance of Meiji Shrine and the newly rebuilt Harajuku Station, making it one of the most pleasantly situated spots for a meal in the area. The menu covers classic French brasserie staples: steak frites, roast lamb, omelettes and croque-monsieur, alongside a boulangerie selection of fresh breads and viennoiseries. The cafe side serves coffee and pastries throughout the day, while the adjoining bar pours wine and spirits at prices modelled on a Parisian neighbourhood cafe. Creme brulee is a house speciality. Just one minute on foot from JR Harajuku Station, the location is ideal for a meal before or after a visit to Meiji Shrine or a stroll through Yoyogi Park. The terrace is particularly inviting in spring and autumn, though the indoor seating maintains the same warm brasserie atmosphere year-round.
