About This Event / イベントについて
Shibuya StreetDance Week 2026 is Monday 23 November 2026 at Yoyogi Park. Organisers are Arts Council Tokyo, under the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture, and the SSDW committee: the Shibuya shopping-street union, the Dogenzaka association, Shibuya Future Design, Tokyu, and PARCO. Backing includes Shibuya Ward, the ward board of education, the Tokyo park association, and the Shibuya tourism association. APPLEBUM sponsors. ARTE TOKYO lists it as a partner programme.
The day is built as named zones. DANCE WITH music is a live-band session with ambassadors. RAINBOW STAGE is the main stage. SSDW CONTEST is high-school dance clubs. BATTLE PARK is improvised battles. CHILL OUT SPACE is workshops and DJ time. BREAKING AREA follows the Olympic cycle. KIDS AREA is new this year, 11:00 to 15:00 at the event plaza, reception from 10:30. PRE JAM is Sunday 8 November at En Dance Studio.
Ambassadors are MAiKA, Yuta, KAZANE, and SHOYA DIVAO. MAiKA judges Battle Park. Yuta performs on Rainbow Stage. KAZANE judges the contest. SHOYA DIVAO teaches in Chill Out. The same park, same day, also hosts FOOTBALL PARK SHIBUYA 2026 on the zelkova path and NEXT GENERATIONS GAMES 2026 at BE STAGE. For why the kids block exists in year 12, read the KIDS AREA guide.
Nearest stations are Harajuku on the JR Yamanote, Meiji-jingumae on the Tokyo Metro, and Yoyogi-koen on the Chiyoda line. Official site: streetdanceweek.jp.
