Cafe Ma Maison is a Japanese-style Western cuisine (yoshoku) restaurant on the top floor of Shibuya 109, blending the comfort of a neighbourhood cafe with the polish of a department store dining room. The menu revolves around generously portioned omelette rice, hamburg steaks and gratins, all rendered with that distinctive yoshoku touch, rich sauces, melted cheese and familiar flavours given a gentle Japanese twist. The pancake selection is another big draw, with tall, souffle-style stacks that have earned the cafe a dedicated following among Tokyo's sweet-toothed brunch crowd. With around 70 seats and a relaxed atmosphere, it is a surprisingly calm refuge amid the buzz of one of Shibuya's busiest buildings.
Open from 10am to 9pm with no regular closing days, Cafe Ma Maison is easy to fit into any itinerary. It is especially handy for a mid-shopping lunch or an early evening meal before heading back down into the 109 retail floors.

The staff forgot one of our orders so we have to stay longer than expected. Make sure to have your server repeat your orders before s/he leaves your table. Nothing special with their dish. I can't comment on their pastry since we did not try it. Except it is very convenient since inside Shibuya 109 building

Convenient location - located right inside of a shopping mall. I recommend the pancakes, but not the shaved ice dessert. It’s not anything special. If you’re coming to Japan on a short visit, I would not waste your time here. The service was also longer than expected. We sat down for 20 minutes before they took our order.

This place does not even worth a single star, if you are tourist, please don't step in, we encounter a very rude staff with a black face as if we own her anything. The presentations of the foods look nice but taste wise are not as good as …

We were at 109 and needed a place to sit and chat with a friend visiting from abroad. This café was a good choice-cozy enough for a catch-up. We each had parfaits, and they were good. Prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was decent for meeting friends. Nothing extraordinary, but it did the job!

10 out of 10 for us with the taste and quality which we could not fault. Two adults and two children cost is just over $30. The food is honestly the best we have tasted in Japan. Well do e we have pinned this location and will be back. A+
