TENGALAND

TENGALAND is the flagship concept store of TENGA, the renowned Japanese brand known for its innovative personal care products. Opened in April 2024 on the second floor of the newly built Tokyu Plaza Harajuku Harakado complex, the shop is billed as a 'Love and Freedom Wonderland' -- a playful, experience-led space that marks the first physical retail venture of its kind for the brand anywhere in the world. Inside, visitors will find the complete TENGA product range on display, including items not available elsewhere, alongside store-exclusive editions and collaborative goods. The interior design reflects the brand's signature bold, colourful aesthetic, with interactive displays and an atmosphere that aims to normalise and destigmatise the shopping experience. The store occupies the same spot where the famous Condomania shop once stood, continuing the location's tradition of open, sex-positive retail. The Harakado building is a short walk from Meiji-Jingumae Station and sits at the intersection of Harajuku and Omotesando, two of Tokyo's most fashion-forward districts. Tax-free shopping is available, and the surrounding building offers a curated mix of cafes, fashion boutiques, and lifestyle shops well worth exploring.
